● Create New Domain in Plesk

To create new domain in Plesk control panel, follow the steps given below.

Step 1: Login to Plesk panel.

Step 2: Under Websites & Domains, click Add Domain.

Step 3: Provide the name of the domain with your choice of extension under Domain name field. This will be website Internet address.
Step 4: Under Hosting Settings, your root directory will be automatically generated. Select your preferred domain name and click OK.

Step 5: You will get an alert message once if your domain is created.

● Create New Subdomain in Plesk

To create new subdomain in Plesk control panel, follow the steps given below.

Step 1: Login to Plesk panel.

Step 2: Under Websites & Domains, click Add Domain.

Step 3: Add New Subdomain page opens. Provide the Subdomain name.
Step 4: Document root will be added by default with the subdomain name you provide. But you can also edit the root name. This root name will be the path for the home directory. Click OK to add new domain.

● Delete Subdomain in Plesk

To delete subdomains in the plesk, follow the steps given below.

Step 1: Login to Plesk panel.

Step 2: In the homepage, under Websites & Domains click Show More near the respective domain
Step 3: Click on “Remove Subdomain”

Step 4: Click Yes to delete the subdomain.

After deleting the subdomain, you will get an alert message as shown in the image below.

● Suspend Domain in Plesk

In Plesk, Suspend option is used to stop the service temporarily. When a subdomain is suspended, user can still visit the site but they cannot access the domain. They will get only the 404 error. To suspend a site, follow the steps given below.

Step 1: Login to Plesk panel.

Step 2: Under Websites and Domains, click Suspend near the respective domain name.

You will get an alert message once if the domain is suspended.
